NLG Insurance Company Limited has distributed a 10% bonus share directly to Demat accounts of its shareholders.
The 15th AGM of the company held on 21st Shrawan, 2078, endorsed the proposed 10.5263% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77: 10% bonus shares and 0.5263% cash dividend (amount for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. The bonus shares are worth Rs. 10,96,37,550 and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 57,70,397.
For those who have not authenticated their bank account in their Demat accounts and for those who have not dematerialized their shares, the dividend will be distributed only after they complete the necessary procedure. Furthermore, investors who have taken margin loans against the shares of the company are required to present a No Objection Letter or a Release Letter, depending on when they took the loan.
Similarly, 20,42,019.30 units bonus shares of Neco Insurance Limited (NIL) have already been listed in NEPSE, and the company is depositing them in shareholders’ accounts. The company had distributed a 16.32% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77: 15.5% bonus share and 0.82% cash dividend (for tax purposes).
Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited has also distributed 3.50% cash dividend directly to bank accounts of its shareholders from 5th Mangsir, 2078, and has urged to dematerialize their shares. The company convened its 27th AGM for the FY 2077-78 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. A.R.M. Sakib on Mangsir 3, 2078. Apart from the regular financial reports, the AGM endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 12% bonus shares and 3.50% cash dividends to its shareholders.
The same cash dividend has been deposited.
